My name is Gail Dutan and for over 30 years I’ve educated myself on natural ways to overcome my health issues. From obesity and asthma to most recently osteoarthritis. I’ve always loved to workout, but having a desk job, commuting and even more sedentary hours at home had led to chronic joint pain in my hip. Instead of viewing surgery as the only way to fix it, I’ve learned how to modify my workouts and focus on proper form so that my body gets back in balance. Activating underused muscle groups can bring back balance and lessen pain. Aging doesn’t need to be associated with aches and pain and degenerative illness. We can grow old and still maintain an active lifestyle by incorporating functional movement and playfulness into our day. Magic happened when I let go of the traditional way of thinking of exercise.
